Bios

• Michael Sargent, DDS

  Michael Sargent, DDS, serves the community of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, as a family and cosmetic dentistry specialist. He has been providing general dental care to patients at Michael Sargent Dentistry since 1983. Dr. Sargent grew up in the area and attended Chelmsford High School. He earned his bachelor of arts from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, graduating summa cum laude. He then went on to complete his dental degree at Georgetown University (GW) in Washington, DC, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society. Dr. Sargent stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry. He is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, American Dental Association, Greater Lowell Dental Society, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Outside of his practice, Dr. Sargent is active in his community. He has served as Chelmsford’s Santa Claus for 25 years at the annual tree lighting ceremony. He also is involved in the Town of Chelmsford scholarship fund, a nonprofit providing aid to Chelmsford residents who wish to pursue an undergraduate education. Dr. Sargent enjoys volunteering and finds the experience extremely fulfilling. During his time at GW, he joined the Georgetown organization for Latin American countries (GOLAC) providing dental care to those living in the mountain villages in the Dominican Republic.

• David Markham, DMD

  Dr. Markham, DMD, serves the community of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, as a family and cosmetic dentistry specialist. He has been providing general dental care to patients at Michael Sargent Dentistry since 1998. Dr. Markham grew up in the area and attended Chelmsford High School (class of 1986). He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the College of The Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. He then went on to complete his dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Markham is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society, American Dental Association, and Massachusetts Dental Society.

• Mario Gatti, DMD, CAGS, FACP

  Dr. Mario Gatti is a Board Certified Prosthodontist with a strong background and inspiring interest in comprehensive, surgical implant and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Gatti received both his DMD and Post- Graduate degree in Prosthodontics from Tufts University and brings with him over fifteen years of advanced clinical experience. Dr. Gatti obtained his Fellowship in Advanced Education in Esthetic Dentistry and accomplished a Fellowship in Surgical Implantology from New York University College of Dentistry, where he also studied the surgical aspect of implant dentistry from world renowned surgeons. Dr. Gatti is an assistant clinical professor at Tufts University in the Department of Post-Graduate Prosthodontics and Treasurer of the Tufts Prosthodontics Alumni Charitable Organization, a position previously held by Dr. William Heggerick. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, a Fellow of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and former President of the American College of Prosthodontists Massachusetts Section. In addition to his tremendous accomplishments in Dentistry and his attention to detail when it comes to his patients care, Dr. Gatti also enjoys cooking, soccer, traveling and rooting for our Boston’s sports teams. Dr. Gatti is originally from the Lake Como region near Milan, Italy. He currently resides in Concord, MA with his wife Emily, and their three children Anna, Elena and Nico. He is fluent in Italian and Spanish.
